I own over 20 palettes and each possesses its own personality and charm. Palette surfaces are never cleaned in the studio. Sure, I might wipe away some color grime to make space for mixing a fresh color but generally I revel in the layer upon layer of pigment that collects over time.
Each puddle tells a story. They carry with them small moments that add up to a lifetime of making for days worth celebrating.
