Over decades of teaching watercolor, I always recommend two water containers. One for rinsing brushes and one for soaking up clean water to paint with. As artists we fight constant distraction, so changing our paint water several times a day or even an hour can be just that...another distraction.
And so the double well watercolor painter's pot was born!
I paint everyday for at least several hours and I change my water only every 3 days or so.

Beautiful and functional
This is by far my favorite piece. The design and functionality is outstanding. I love that I can paint all day, and very rarely change my water. It is a beautiful piece that has earned a permanent place on my desk, and I always have a good supply of both rinse and fresh water ready for when I want to paint.
Even better than I expected
This is a joy to have. It's a very beautiful piece of artwork and is perfect and functional for watercolor. I love it so much that I decided to splurge and order the matching brush holder. I also work in clay, and the quality of both the pot and brush holder are really exquisite. Even after I paint for hours, never have to change the water in the middle of painting, and I tend to get a bit OCD about my water. Or I used to, but I don't anymore. I love the size because it holds enough water in the outside that it last for hours of painting. I'm so grateful I was able to get this very functional and beautiful piece of art.
