Each composition is photographed to crystallize the moment before the live elements fade. Kristy's #watercolorfragments compositions have come to life worldwide in countless destinations from the wide open Redrock vistas of Southern Utah to the wild strawberry fields of Iceland.

Creating words from natural elements and watercolor is a tedious practice. Here Kristy arranged bits of pearl necklace succulent, ladies mantle, fuchsia and fern to spell out the sentiment, "be still". The "e"is her favorite letter in this print consisting of whimsical watercolor shapes and perfectly curved pieces of fern and fuchsia.
